Position Overview We’re looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Marketing & Sales Support Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless lead intake and management process, exceptional interactions with potential customers, and supporting detailed reporting. You will qualify interested leads and enter them into the OC Solar sales pipeline. The successful candidate will be comfortable making and receiving dozens of phone calls per day. As a key player in our mission, you’ll work closely with both the marketing and sales teams to support lead conversion, enhance customer experiences, and contribute to our marketing and brand reputation as a trusted solar provider.
Key Responsibilities
Lead In-take, Qualification & Follow-Up Respond to and manage inbound leads daily (Yelp & other platforms). Conduct initial screenings to ensure that inbound leads are qualified. Conduct timely follow-ups and document interactions in Salesforce.
Data Management & Reporting Perform lead validation and reporting, including monitoring and reporting for paid leads. Submit credit requests for invalid leads. Regularly update Salesforce with detailed customer information, including names, emails, phone numbers, and lead sources. Validate and confirm lead sources while maintaining accurate records in partner portals like Panasonic and SPAN. Generate and analyze leads reports to support marketing and sales strategies.
Sales Support Conduct outreach to leads classified as “no-contact” after multiple attempts. Triage and manage responses from marketing emails and incoming calls to optimize lead assignments.
Customer Experience Coordination Coordinate review requests through collaborative efforts with other team members. Respond to customer reviews on platforms like Google, Yelp, and Angi to maintain strong online profiles and customer relationships.
Marketing Operations Assist in vetting calls to ensure they are correctly directed to sales, service, or construction teams. Support other marketing and sales efforts as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience: 1-3 years in marketing, sales support, or customer service. Experience in the solar industry or lead intake is a plus. Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in Salesforce or similar CRM tools. Familiarity with Yelp, Google Ads, and online review platforms. Attributes: Entrepreneurial spirit, a go-getter who wants to make a difference. Comfortable with being on the phone frequently. Detail-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused.
