Overview
The Senior Associate, National Video Investment will work cross-functionally with internal teams and vendors to develop and execute video platform media buys for one of our clients. The ideal candidate for this position is an agile, proactive, team player who is curious and open to the changing face of media buying through technological advancement.
This is a collaborative and connected team dedicated to great client service as well as fostering an environment for professional growth for their team members.
Responsibilities
- Learn key programs and tools including MediaOcean, Media Tools, IMS, ADviews, and ComScore, and master media math.
- Stewardship
- Enter buys into MBOX and ensure the system reflects accurate buys.
- Update buy summary documents.
- Monitor network buys daily based on audience delivery data to ensure delivery in flight.
- Assist with campaign set-up and execution including order letters, specs, creative rotation, and billing documentation.
- Responsible for billing discrepancies and resolutions.
- Develop and nurture network relationships.
- Daily communications with networks for costs.
- Manage pricing and buy sheets.
- Analyze addressable plans.
- Track delivery of campaigns and complete post/wrap buys.
- Manage campaigns in Prisma.
- Serve as the liaison between different teams internally and externally.
- Negotiate placements and ADUs for campaigns.
- Clear communication skills in writing - many emails will be client-facing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably with a concentration in marketing, advertising, communications, business, sociology, or consumer insights.
- 1+ year of experience within media advertising.
- Understanding of multiple media channels - Digital/Video media buying experience a plus.
- Able to navigate a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment keeping up with statuses of buys.
- Project management skills are key.
- Ability to teach, manage, and lead (will have direct report associates).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills; PowerPoint and advanced Excel.
- Strong time management and quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting while effectively managing priorities.
- Experience utilizing various media tools.
