The Selections Coordinator will guide clients through all remodeling projects materials selection processes, ensuring their choices align with the project's principal design, budget, and timeline. This role serves as a critical liaison between the team of designers, clients, estimators, and project managers, helping to deliver exceptional results and a seamless remodeling experience.
Responsibilities: Client Consultations:
Assist clients in identifying and selecting materials, interior finishes, and fixtures for their remodeling projects. Introduce client to product options and provide explanations to inquiries to ensure selections align with clients' design preferences, lifestyle needs, and project budgets.
Budget Management:
Collaborate with clients at all phases of projects to ensure selections remain within the agreed upon project budgets. Proactively address potential budget adjustments with clients and project managers.
Documentation and Communication:
Establish and maintain detailed records of all client selections, including product specifications, product order quantities, model numbers, and finishes. Communicate clients' project selections and updates to the design team, project managers, and vendors to confirm client selections and support customer satisfaction. Produce material examples, with pictures, to present available materials for clients' selections include with clients' remodeling projects' contracts.
Showroom Management:
Develop showroom display updates with current product offerings, design trends, and state-of-the art technology to create a professional space for client meetings.
Coordination with Teams:
Collaborate with designers, architects, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of clients' material and design selections into project design plans.
Provide informed, courteous, and collaborative responses to all client questions and concerns promptly, to guarantee exceptional service throughout the selection process. Issue Resolution: Handle any discrepancies or issues related to materials, and work with suppliers to resolve them efficiently. Regular attendance and punctuality at trainings, company meetings, and client consultations are required. Operates safely in all conditions. Follows company policies and procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience in design-build or remodeling. Two or more years of experience in a client-facing role within a design, remodeling, or construction environment. Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and fixtures used in interior remodeling projects including: kitchens, bathrooms, basements, laundry rooms, and additions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide clients and sustain trust throughout renovation projects. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects, simultaneously. Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020, or Chief Architect) and familiarity with CRM and project management tools is preferred. Knowledge of current trends in interior design and remodeling is preferred. Ability to interpret and understand blueprints and design plans is preferred. Experience in budget management and material sourcing and acquisition is preferred. Professional attitude and appearance. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Physical Requirements:
