Job Description:
About the Role
The Film and Exhibitor Marketing Assistant will support the Film and Exhibitor Marketing teams by handling administrative tasks and assisting with exhibitor marketing/relations, theatrical releases, and brand marketing. This role will focus on providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations and effective communication within the team and with external partners.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the primary administrative contact for the Film and Exhibitor Marketing teams.
- Assist with film marketing initiatives for IMAX theatres in the US and Canada, including research, theatre support materials, and creative requests.
- Maintain and update resource documents with relevant information and materials.
- Track and update the calendar of exhibitor programs, conferences, new theatre openings, and other key events.
- Support the Senior Vice President and Senior Director, Film and Exhibitor Marketing with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing reports.
- Assist with theatre research projects and compile information for internal use.
- Process invoices and maintain budget tracking document
- Maintain and organize marketing storage closet
- 1+ years of work experience in an administrative or marketing role required.
- Entertainment industry experience preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred; high school diploma required.
- Adept writing skills including knowledge of and attention to grammar and spelling, and ability to write diplomatically, professionally and persuasively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional phone manner and the ability to interact professionally with staff members at all levels of the organization and external clients.
- Strong organizational, project, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and internet/social media savvy.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team-player, flexible, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure.
- Basic understanding of creative deliverables including digital, AV and print assets.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat and internet/ social media savvy.
Compensation:
20.18 - 25.00
