Job Description
Job Title: Designer I
Location: Woonsocket, RI
Pay Rate: $31.25 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hybrid Role: 3 days in-office (Tue, Wed, Thu); Remote on Mon and Fri
Job Description:
The Retail Pharmacy Layout and Design I role is responsible for managing all pharmacy layout design metrics under the supervision of the Manager of Retail Pharmacy Layout. This role ensures that layout metrics are validated and maintained across a fleet of 9,000+ retail pharmacies, supporting the workflow in each location based on script volume and customer interactions.
The individual in this role will be responsible for validating existing layout metrics, which includes accessing and analyzing CAD drawings and reviewing in-store cameras to ensure all metrics are accurate, making updates as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate and maintain layout metrics for over 9,000 retail pharmacy locations.
- Analyze and interpret various data sources to ensure layout metrics are correct.
- Access and review CAD drawings and in-store camera footage to ensure accuracy of layout metrics.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, with in-house personnel, field management, and outside vendor representatives.
- Follow clear, concise directions and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ensure regular and reliable attendance, with the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 1+ years of experience with AutoCAD design software.
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word).
- Ability to analyze and interpret various sources of data.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working in a retail pharmacy.
- 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD design software.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word).

- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to maintain focus and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
