Overview
This position is based in our Dallas office, with occasional travel required if the candidate is outside Dallas. While Dallas is preferred, candidates from other locations will also be considered.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing and deploying digital workflows via coding and visual scripting.
Contribute to the development of BIMs and related deliverables.
Establish and maintain scripting and modeling standards across project teams.
Identify opportunities to improve project delivery through technology and data processes.
Create visuals to communicate with clients and project teams for better design decisions.
Maintain online documentation of digital practices across the firm.
Collaborate with project teams on digital implementation, including analysis, design, documentation, fabrication, and construction models.
Qualifications & Required Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering with emphasis on Structural Engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in a designer role.
Understanding of BIM, parametric modeling, computational design, and interoperability.
Familiarity with Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Revit; knowledge of Rhino.Inside, Tekla Structures, Adobe Creative Suite, Power BI, ETABS or SAP2000 is a plus.
Programming experience in Python, C#, JavaScript, Git, and collaborative coding is a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills, including visual communication skills with data visualizations, diagrams, and 3D renderings.
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
