Blazer Jobs is hiring an experienced Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a school district in Franklin, North Carolina. This full-time position focuses on supporting students with vision impairments through specialized instruction and adaptive learning strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver specialized instruction to visually impaired students.
- Adapt and modify classroom materials for accessibility.
- Conduct functional vision assessments and provide recommendations.
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with school staff.
- Work closely with families, educators, and specialists to ensure student success.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Visual Impairment Education or related field.
- Valid North Carolina teaching certification for visually impaired students.
- Minimum of one year of experience in the field.
