COMPENSATION: Salary + Commission
STUDIO MANAGER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create a culture of transparency and focused improvement while fostering a strong team environment.
- Promote the health and wellness benefits that are associated with a healthy lifestyle.
- Pose a high-caliber approach to coaching and staff development.
- Properly manage and exceed all Icebox sales and operational budgets.
- Provide leadership and daily direction to the Wellness Coordinators and Estheticians.
- Lead and coordinate initial and ongoing sales drivers (pre-sale events, studio events, outreach).
- Oversee the sales process and front desk systems.
- Hire, train, and schedule all studio staff.
- Manage, monitor, develop, and evaluate the performance of staff.
- Manage disciplinary actions involving all Icebox studio employees.
- Adhere to Icebox policies for daily studio operations.
- Develop a high-energy culture through contests and incentive-based motivation.
- Model all studio activities through self-involvement (leading by example).
- Create relationships with guests to further personalize their experience.
- Educate guests on memberships and products.
- Enforce Icebox corporate policies, business practices, systems, and processes.
- Provide effective decision-making regarding customer service issues.
- Ensure that the studio is clean, maintained, and operationally sound.
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
- Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the business.
- Regularly meet and exceed assigned revenue goals.
REQUIRED SKILLS & TRAITS
- Has a track record of leading and empowering groups towards driving improvement when navigating change.
- Have a solid understanding of membership sales and operational excellence.
- Proven sales leadership.
- Keen on driving sales and service excellence.
- Possess excellent leadership and management skills to create a positive, successful environment.
- Min 3 years of sales experience required.
- Min 3 years of management experience required.
- Previous management experience in the health or fitness industry.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be courteous and professional in manner and appearance.
- Must be a strong team player who is customer service oriented.
- Must show sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
- Flexible to work day, evening, and weekend hours as needed.
