Overview
The Director, Sales Content Strategy is a part of the Así Studios team dedicated to optimizing sales opportunities leveraging all TelevisaUnivision content offerings across platforms (linear, digital, streaming, social, audio & experiential). This role helps drive incremental revenue for TelevisaUnivision Communications by creating integrated, compelling, insight-driven marketing solutions and packaging digital, social, and linear plans that meet market needs. This role collaborates cross-functionally with the network and local sales, research, strategy & insights, marketing, production, programming, product, audience, editorial teams, growth strategy teams, as well as clients and agency partners.
As part of the sales marketing senior management team, you will collaborate with the Senior Director of Sales Content Strategy and other executives, to develop and achieve best compelling marketing solutions across TelevisaUnivision content in all platforms. Areas of focus and integration include Product and audience, Network production and programming, Editorial (social and .com), Corporate Marketing and Social Impact, Research and S&I, Social Media Advertising, Digital Growth, ViX (svod and avod), multi-market sales and network sales.
YOUR DAY-DAY:
- Provide strategic direction on creation of insight-driven storytelling-focused content marketing sales proposals
- Develop and coach junior managers on content monetization, packaging plans, presentation aesthetics and communication
- Support marketing strategy Directors and team in day-to-day Así Studios pre-sales and post-sales activities including but not limited to: preliminary outlines and integrated marketing proposals for sales to present to clients and advertising agencies (occasionally attend and/or present at in-person meetings)
- Represent Así Studios in day-to-day brainstorming meetings to assess client needs and maximize revenue opportunities for second-tier accounts
- Liaise with Executive Producers, editorial, & scheduling teams, and Así Studios VPS and directors to ensure conceptual approval and alignment
- Build relationships with key personnel in divisional platforms (Network, Multi-Market, Digital and Social Media Sales, Strategy and Insights, Creative Services, Business Development, Experiential and Content Creators) to effectively weave together cohesive multi-touch point offerings.
- Work with graphic artists and internal sources to ensure presentation tells story in an impactful manner
- Help manage linear integrations and digital media inventory with pricing & planning teams
- Keep content marketing materials updated with latest sponsorship packages and opportunities
- Develop ad innovation solutions for our linear capabilities with content partners, and pricing and planning teams to deliver a better consumer experience and brand engagement on-air
YOU HAVE:
- Minimum of 7 years media-related experience
- Minimum of 5 years sales marketing ideation and execution experience in Network, Digital, a/o Social
- Possess equal parts creativity, strategic/marketing management, project management and sales knowledge for Network and Digital business units
- A strategic thinker able to see opportunities for content monetization and to foresee and prevent execution issues
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate and optimize campaigns
- Experience creating and executing integrated cross-platform media solutions
- A positive, solutions-oriented, and success-driven attitude
- Extremely detail oriented with an ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high volume, high pressure, fast-paced environment
- Ability to quickly and continuously adapt to and embrace new trends and technologies
- Deep understanding of media landscape, services, and technologies
- Excellent ability and history working for integrated teams.
- Experience with branded digital video & social content sales packaging & influencer marketing
- Understanding of multi-cultural content preferred but not required
- An expert in managing complex projects, you are loved by clients & colleagues - You're responsive, personable, organized, and you can tackle the tough questions
- You know how to ensure that deliverables & deadlines are being met while delivering a high quality of output.
- Ability to move quickly between projects and look ahead to see and deal with potential problems
- Keynote a plus

- Must be willing to work from an office in Miami, FL.
