The Review Office (RO) of the Congressional Research Service (CRS) is offering a detail to qualified individuals to serve as a Supervisory Editor/Section Head for the Editors currently serving in the Office of Publishing (PUB), scheduled to become part of the Review Office (RO) in early April, 2025. The principal responsibility of the selectee will be to provide day-to-day management of the editorial function for the distribution and dissemination of the primary research products of CRS. The selectee will be responsible for the management and direction of the Section, including strategic, workforce planning and management, policy administration, and operational processes. The selectee will set priorities and direct the work of the Section staff, and manage the technical resources allocated to the Section to achieve its goals. In addition, ensures the development, documentation, and implementation of policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines that govern editorial and publishing systems and services in CRS.
