Akron City Schools is actively hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students build essential communication skills that drive academic and social success. Position Overview : As an SLP, you will evaluate student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver interventions that address a variety of speech and language challenges. Key Responsibilities : Conduct speech-language assessments and prepare detailed evaluation reports Develop and implement therapy plans based on IEP goals Address articulation, fluency, receptive / expressive language, and pragmatics Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations and updates Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with district and state requirements Required Qualifications : Ohio Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs ASHA CCC preferred School-based or pediatric experience a plus Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills Type :
