The Julian & Marjorie Lange School is a kindergarten-only building that serves approximately 130 students. Position Summary: The Community Relations Director will coordinate internal and external district communications and lead ongoing public relations initiatives to enhance the district's positive image. Key Responsibilities: Develop and coordinate strategies to promote a positive community image through various media channels, public events, and social media platforms. Produce multimedia presentations. Manage the district website. Document school events, organize digital media files, and create media products. Provide communications professional development. Act as an adviser to the superintendent and collaborate with staff to enhance public perception of the district. Oversee the district's notification system. Develop print and electronic publications. Establish branding identity and guidelines. Maintain professional relationships with media representatives. Education and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or a related field. Ability to develop and implement clear pathways to successfully achieve public relations objectives. Versatile writing skills.
