As an on-call/freelancer, you might work zero to 30 hours per week, depending on our workload.
Join our Creative Studio of mission-driven creatives, communicators, strategists, and technologists who are rapidly putting ICF Next on the map for DC Metro's premier creative shop.
As an On-Call Production Artist, you will:
- Support public- and private-sector clients who tackle issues like disaster preparedness, human trafficking, climate change, child welfare, energy efficiency, and more.
- Collaborate closely with art directors, designers and developers.
- Create files for client review.
- Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing.
- Package and preflight files for release to printers or media partners.
- Prepare files for online, web, and mobile applications.
- Prepare fillable PDFs, including formulas.
- Helpful if you have HTML knowledge for email coding.
You will have:
- An exceptional eye for detail, with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong experience using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- A solid knowledge of the printing processes and preflighting tools.
- Proficiency in Office applications helpful but not required, especially Word and PowerPoint.
- Understand Section 508 Accessibility requirements and help prepare documents for 508 remediation.
- The ability to gracefully handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a high-speed environment.
Minimum Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in graphic design or a related field) or equivalent years of experience.
- 5+ years of creative experience within agency and/or marketing environments.
Job Location(s): This individual will work remotely within the United States.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$60,927.00 - $103,576.00 Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
