Impact of the role
The Field Service Engineer II will perform on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex electron microscopy equipment, troubleshoot and improve system quality, and train customers in operation and maintenance. Key responsibilities
- Install and test complex equipment on-site
- Perform scheduled maintenance
- Support troubleshooting and repairs
- Build positive customer relationships
- Complete technical training and reports

- Contribute to product quality feedback and documentation
- Act as a training resource and subject matter expert
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor in electronics, physics, engineering, computer science, or 2-5 years equivalent experience.
Experience: 4-5 years operating, troubleshooting, and repairing SEM, TEM, FIB systems; UHV experience is a plus.
Skills: Fluent in English, problem-solving, teamwork, confidentiality, Windows proficiency, schematics reading, troubleshooting complex systems, travel readiness, valid driver’s license and passport, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated hourly pay: $28.85–$43.27 in Colorado, with potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including health plans, PTO, holidays, parental leave, insurance, 401(k), stock purchase plan, and more. For details, visit: Total Rewards
