Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to observe and document current work processes.
- Conduct thorough standard work process reviews to capture data and identify areas for improvement.
- Organize and create comprehensive technical documentation that reflects the observed processes.
- Engage with team members across various shifts to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Maintain flexibility in your schedule to accommodate varying operational hours and processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while on the manufacturing floor.
- Provide a sample of your technical writing for review, and be prepared to discuss your documentation process during the interview.
Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of technical writing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
- Experience in documenting complex processes and creating clear, concise technical documentation.
- Ability to navigate a manufacturing facility, including the use of stairs and working in varying temperature conditions.
- Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes is a plus.
