Responsible for overseeing plan execution (strategic planning & plan implementation) that translates clients’ marketing and advertising objectives into overarching media campaigns and works within a cohesive cross-platform media recommendation. Develop unique interactive plans, inclusive of custom programs, that are consistent with approved strategies and budget. Essential Functions: Lead team (Planners & Assistants) in day-to-day responsibilities Oversee completion of daily assignments, including but not limited to: reporting, tagging/trafficking, optimizing, negotiating, gathering screenshots, vendor communication & meetings, custom creative review, sending RFPs, planning (including slide/deck development), billing (client & vendor), internal/external status updates, research projects, etc. Contribute to building and managing client relationships through daily communication. Strong understanding of social and programmatic channels. Experience activating digital media including planning, trafficking, optimizing, and reporting Utilize planning tools such as comScore, MRI, Vivvix, Pathmatics and other resources to create a media plan strategy Express understanding of client objectives through sound strategic recommendations and associated rationale Create decks for media recommendations that thoroughly and clearly explain/showcase recommendations Communicate with and inspire clients via phone, email or in-person interaction Review/QA reporting generated by junior team members Write client-facing POVs to evaluate media opportunities Responsible for keeping up-to-date billing charts and working with the billing department to ensure all bills are paid Follow, analyze, and optimize against digital trends and the latest technological advancements in the media landscape Contribute to strategy and brainstorming sessions for new clients and pitches Manage multiple accounts and excel at multi-tasking. Also includes the potential of working on ad-hoc requests as needed. Organizational Relationships Position Reports To: Associate Media Director Qualification Requirements Bachelor degree is required Discipline Specific Skills Must have 4+ years of relevant media planning and buying experience in various mediums with an emphasis on digital Prior experience in the following verticals: B2B, Financial, Higher Education, Non-Profits Strong working competency in these specific digital tactics: Digital Display/Video Social Media Channels Programmatic Marketplace Exposure to traditional media platforms (TV, Print, and Out-of-Home) Experience managing others Experience working in an integrated capacity with Planning, Activation and Creative teams Knowledge and understanding of tools and resources such as comScore, MRI, Vivvix, DCM, Tableau, etc. Familiar with various forms of digital pricing models (CPM, CPC, CPV, CPA, CPCV, etc.) and when to leverage each Ability to use third-party ad servers to traffic media campaigns and pull reports; experience with DCM is crucial Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Google Docs Exceptional written, verbal, and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees & clients Attention to detail and advanced follow-through skills Salary range $90,000-$110,000 Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Marketing and Advertising Industries Advertising Services and Marketing Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
