Summary
The
Director, Marketing Strategy and Execution
for ICBA Innovation conceptualizes, builds and delivers bold, thoughtful and measurement-driven integrated marketing campaigns on time and on budget for designated ICBA departments and services under ICBA Innovation's pillar. This is a hands-on, strategic position that uses creative development and project management skills to deliver successful campaigns that align with meeting business goals.
The Director Marketing Strategy and Execution actively leads marketing campaigns for designated departments and crafts marketing messaging in collaboration with the marketing and communications team to deliver on behalf of clients and business interests within ICBA. This position develops individual campaigns, while aligning with and advancing enterprise marketing strategy for the organization.
Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy
Creative Strategy:
Proactively develops strategic approaches and new ideas to meet the goals of the designated departments. Guides brainstorming sessions within one department or between multiple departments to generate creative ideas and strategies for implementation. Performance-driven planning:
Utilizing research and data collection, build campaigns informed by first and third-party insights-and strategies built for measurement, learning, client check-ins and continuous improvement within and beyond campaign timetable. Develops Marketing Plans:
Writes creative briefs and marketing plans for individual projects. Implements these plans to meet project objectives and annual goals. Project Strategy:
for larger initiatives, provides marketing strategy insight and guidance as the project is in development. A project may then contain multiple campaigns to be launched over months or years. Marketing Strategy
Strategic direction : Proactively develops and communicates strategic approaches and new ideas to meet the goals of Innovation at ICBA. Protect and Manage ICBA Innovation Brand:
Working with Innovation colleagues, helps build and maintain ICBA Innovation's brand reputation. Develops messaging for key stakeholders including, state associations, policymakers, industry experts and members of the media. Collaboration
Marketing Liaison:
Interfaces with designated departments to define objectives and identify marketing opportunities. Represents marketing in regular client operations and planning meetings, representing marketing and identifying opportunities to deploy marketing strategies. Marketing Collaboration : Works with the VP Marketing/Creative Director and members of the marketing and communications team to execute marketing plans and initiatives. Coordinates with appropriate parties to complete projects (internal department representatives, printers, freelancers and other marketing and communication staff). Presentation:

tory Telling : Crafts and presents innovative ideas in simple and engaging ways. Crafts Marketing Deliverables:
Develops and delivers effective marketing outputs that adhere to ICBA brand standards in collaboration with designers and other team members. Writes and/or edits messaging/copy for marketing materials as needed. Project Management
Prioritization : comfortable prioritizing goals and flagging concerns and foreseeing challenges and opportunities within campaigns. Project Management : Gathers project requirements for large projects and campaigns, develops marketing plans, creates or delegates content development, and sees the project through to delivery. Manages project timelines and expectations. Accountability : End-to-end accountability for designated marketing campaigns through communication, project plans, creative briefs and reporting. Reporting : Develops campaign reports to guide future program and event goals and strategy. Informs leadership of key opportunities tied to member insights and behavior. Analytics : Utilizes marketing measurement tools to provide reliable campaign analytics, dashboards for clients - and provides analysis and consequent decisions to advance marketing efforts. Market Research : Manages the creation of surveys and forms to provide continuous feedback loop on the needs of members and the future of the industry. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing or Business Administration. 5+ years of marketing experience. 2+ years of work with marketing analytics Deep familiarity with results-driven, measurement-focused marketing activation. Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders Experience balancing customer/client demands with available resources - prioritizing and communicating as appropriate. Experience in B2B marketing, event marketing, marketing agency, association, and/or financial services industry preferred. Strengths & Soft Skills

Demonstrated talent for abstract thinking, spotting trends and patterns, has an innate curiosity, an instinct for popular culture, and a nuanced understanding of creative work. Ability to take initiative, manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines. Skills
Superior writing, editing, organizational and communication skills required. Working knowledge of survey methodology, analytics and trend analysis. Familiarity with marketing automation systems and measurement tools a plus. Knowledge of the print/publication process from design through delivery. Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; especially Word, Outlook & PowerPoint. Expertise in digital marketing, emerging media and technology. Occasional travel as requested.
Compensation and Benefits
The target annual salary range for this role is currently $95,000 to $125,000 based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, market data and internal equity. Total compensation includes a comprehensive healthcare benefits package (medical, dental and vision), 401k plan company match contribution, and an annual performance bonus.
