Apply Description Smithbucklin, a 650-person, employee-owned professional services company with more than 70 years of success serving the association market, is seeking a Marketing & Communications Associate to join our team in Chicago. The MCS unit provides services including branding, creative, PR, publications, and event marketing, partnering with association leaders to develop strategies based on research and analysis. Our culture is driven by optimism, ambition, expertise, and thoughtfulness, empowering team members to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional results. Join us in shaping the future of association management, where our values are the cornerstone of our success. Responsibilities include managing client communications (email, website, press releases, social media), developing marketing collateral, organizing distribution lists, updating schedules and websites, and tracking advertising materials. This role is ideal for someone passionate about marketing and communications, with strong writing and verbal skills, able to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects. Travel up to 5% may be required. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business, with 0-1 years of experience. Preferred qualifications include agency or association management experience, knowledge of marketing processes, social media proficiency, and basic HTML skills.
