JOB SUMMARY:
This position requires enterprise-level responsibility for emergency and tactical communications. It requires advanced technical, operational, and coordination capabilities, and involves working with cross-functional teams, global partners, and third-party vendors. Direct the lifecycle management, inventory, and governance of tactical communications platforms such as satellite phones, radios, repeaters, and tactical vehicles. Ensure all systems are regularly tested, maintained, and compliant with regional policies, licensing, and operational standards. Coordinate global testing schedules with site contacts, Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), and field teams, provide subject matter expertise in system troubleshooting, configuration, and integration (e.g., API / KMZ data, Starlink, radio and repeater programming), manage satellite and radio system installation and performance monitoring. Assist in creation and maintenance of policies and procedures for the tactical communication program. Assist with vendor relations and budget.

Ability to learn security operations and procedures; carry out instructions; ability to maintain professional composure, handle multiple tasks concurrently; ability to observe and report incidents, read and write routine correspondence, including logs, reports, forms; read and comprehend instructions, rules, regulations; good organizational skills; ability to clearly communicate, good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively; keyboarding, basic computer usage and operating controls; ability to handle sensitive and confidential information; must have a government-issued motor vehicle operator license or proper government issued identification; may be required to use vehicle in the performance of duties; may be required to work overtime without advance notice; must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements; with or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions; frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain; occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling; frequent lifting and/or moving up to ten pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds; on occasion may be required to perform stressful and physical activity; depending upon assignment may be exposed to inclement weather or be required to work in environments or under conditions that require the use of protective gear and devices and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others; may be required to wear standard company uniforms.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position. MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:
• Must be at least 18 years of age. • Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone). • Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private). • Must have the legal right to work in the United States. • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English. • Must have a High School Diploma or GED. • Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. Education/Experience: Must have high-school diploma or equivalent.Preferably two (2) years of industrial security experience; must have experience in using computer applications; should have experience with or be willing to learn security related software applications and security operation processes.
