About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer to own and lead the end-to-end design process for a fast-growing, consumer-focused fintech product. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about transforming complex financial experiences into intuitive, human-centered solutions. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams to craft seamless, accessible, and engaging user journeys that drive business results and improve customer outcomes.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the end-to-end design process from discovery through delivery, transforming business goals into intuitive, user-first experiences that drive engagement, conversion, and customer satisfaction across web and mobile platforms.
- Translate business initiatives into intuitive design solutions that balance user needs with company goals.
- Lead the creation of user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design intent.
- Conduct and analyze user research, usability testing, and customer feedback to inform UX strategy and validate design decisions.
- Drive the development and maintenance of a scalable design system and component library to ensure consistency across digital products.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
- Define, implement, and analyze A/B testing and performance data to refine user experiences and improve product KPIs.
- Ensure accessibility and responsive design standards are met across all user interfaces.
- Advocate for the user at every step of the product development lifecycle and champion human-centered design principles.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the evolution of internal design processes and team culture.
- Present design concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholders and clients, including executives and non-design audiences.
- Refine and optimize existing designs by analyzing product performance, feedback, and competitor benchmarking.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging tools, and design innovations relevant to fintech and digital consumer products.
- Document design decisions, patterns, and best practices to support implementation and future reference.
- Own multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
- Bachelor of Sciencein Design, Computer Science, HCI or relevant field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or equivalent role.
- Demonstrated ability to create thoughtful, user-centered designs that align with strategic business objectives.
- Proven experience planning and conducting user research, usability testing, and synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
- Portfolio demonstrates refined visual design skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proven success managing multiple design projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Advanced proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools, including Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and design systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present to stakeholders.
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and solving complex design challenges.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
