Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to drive IT services and digital transformation growth within the broader Media & Entertainment sector, including Publishing, Streaming, Studios, and Digital Media companies. This role is services-sales focused — aimed at enabling technology-led business transformation through cloud, AI/GenAI, application modernization, cybersecurity, customer experience platforms, and managed services. Develop and close new business opportunities by selling TCS services to media houses, streaming platforms, entertainment studios, and publishers. Focus on services sales — cloud adoption, digital platforms, AI/GenAI integration, application modernization, cybersecurity, customer experience transformation. Own the complete sales lifecycle — from prospecting and relationship building to proposal development and contract closure. Collaborate with TCS leadership, industry SMEs, and solution teams to build compelling client proposals. Engage CXO-level stakeholders to position TCS as a strategic partner for digital and IT transformation initiatives. Build and maintain a robust, qualified pipeline aligned to aggressive revenue targets.

Focus on services sales — cloud adoption, digital platforms, AI/GenAI integration, application modernization, cybersecurity, customer experience transformation. Own the complete sales lifecycle — from prospecting and relationship building to proposal development and contract closure. Collaborate with TCS leadership, industry SMEs, and solution teams to build compelling client proposals. Qualifications
10+ years of experience selling enterprise IT services or technology consulting within the Media, Entertainment, and Publishing industries. Proven success selling multi-million-dollar deals in IT services such as cloud migration, data analytics, content management platforms, GenAI, cybersecurity, or customer experience solutions. Strong executive presence with ability to influence CIOs, CTOs, CMOs, and Digital Transformation Officers. Deep understanding of digital disruption trends in the Media and Entertainment industries. Must be based in or willing to relocate to New York, NY/ Tri State
Salary Range: $180,000-$220,000 a year
