Brief Description / Position Summary
Yorkville High School has an opening for an Art and Design Teacher for the summer school session 1. The courses will run four (4) days per week, five (5) hours per day. Session 1 runs June 9 through June 13, June 16 through June 18, June 23 through June 26, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Qualifications / Skills:
Must have a valid Illinois Professional Educators License and be endorsed in Art.
Minimum Requirements:
- Prior experience in teaching high school Art preferred but not required
- Prior experience teaching in diverse settings preferred but not required
- Willingness to participate in a comprehensive professional/course development program prior to summer school session required
- Strong communication and advocacy skills preferred
Hourly Rate: $32.00
