Job Description Job Description Minimum 1 years visually impaired experience required. Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Evans, GA A school in Evans, GA is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support students with visual impairments across multiple school sites. This full-time role offers competitive pay and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students education. Position Details: Location: Evans, GA Pay: Starting at $40 per hour (Based on experience) Start Date: ASAP May 17, 2025 Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week Caseload: 14 students, Grades K-12 Itinerant: Servicing 5-6 schools Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments Manage and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success Implement assistive technology and accommodations as needed Complete required documentation and reports Perform additional duties as assigned by the school Qualifications: GA Licensure & Credentials (Must provide confirmation upon application) Prior experience as a TVI preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work across multiple school sites This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or aspiring TVI looking to work in a supportive educational environment.
