About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Producer (Education & Product Content) to bring engaging video projects to life. You will play a hands-on role in producing high-quality videos that educate, inform, and inspire diverse audiences. Your work will span external social media, internal training, external partner training, and public-facing platforms.
The types of videos you will create include live action interviews, webinars, full screen animations (with vendor support), and live action/animation hybrid videos. These videos will cover cutting-edge topics related to artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, and the intersection of these transformative fields.
You’ll focus your strong narrative-building and story-telling skills to a wide constellation of video projects, ensuring continuity across varied video types. A successful Video Producer will develop a strong point-of-view for approaching video production, but will also be adept at bringing in stakeholder needs and opinions and executing in a way that creates a win for all those involved.
What You’ll Do
- Produce and edit video content from pre-production through post-production
- Work with subject matter experts to develop scripts, storyboards, and other video assets
- Collaborate closely with the Video Production Lead to execute creative concepts and storytelling strategies
- Work with external vendors and freelancers, particularly for animation and specialized production needs
- Manage occasional live video shoots, including setup, lighting, and camera operation
- Ensure all videos meet quality standards, brand guidelines, and deadlines
- Adapt content for various platforms, optimizing for social media, training modules, and more
Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience in video production, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of video content
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro)
- A passion for bringing complex concepts to a broad audience while maintaining accuracy
- Experience with visual design, graphics development, and visual theories
- Experience building motion graphics, basic animation, or visual effects
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Familiarity with working alongside creative leads and managing vendor relationships
Nice to Haves
- Experience in end-to-end creation of educational or product-focused videos
- Experience with principles of UI design, layouts, typography, and color
- Technical skills in camera operation, lighting, and audio recording
- Background or strong interest in technical topics such as AI, quantum technologies, or other deep-tech fields (a plus, but not required)
Portfolio will be required upon application
- A portfolio demonstrating your passion and high design craft for clear, engaging, and informative videos. Work examples should demonstrate:
- Information rich, approachable, and engaging storylines
- Creative thinking from problem to ideation to solution
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team
- Please note your specific involvement in each piece of the portfolio
The US base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be $120k - $160k per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This role may be eligible for annual discretionary bonuses and equity.
