PART TIME 20 hrs/week 3 month contract. Possibly to extend based on budget and performance
Summary • Provide content design and review support to the new Learn partners to ensure adherence to the platform standards. • Perform instructional design and/or developmental editorial review for training modules/learning paths and product documentation to ensure the content written by the tenant teams meets the required quality criteria. • Share the feedback with the partners and work with them to ensure the content quality is fit for publishing on MS Learn. • Provide editorial support for any other tasks identified to support tenancy business requirements.
Skills Required • 3-5 years' work-related experience required. • Experience in instructional design and developmental editing, including needs, learner context, and tasks analyses. • Experience working with clients, subject matter experts, and development team members to shape content that fits customer needs. • MS Office experience required. Must have strong communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work well with SMEs from a variety of backgrounds. • Strong customer service orientation required. • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and developmental editing principles required. • Bachelor's degree in a related field and Master's or other formal education in Instructional Design preferred but not required.
Preferred Skills • Experience working with variety of content authoring systems, such as GitHub, Markdown, XML, HTML, DITA, and MadCap Flare. • Experience migrating content across a variety of content managements systems.
