Job Title: Technical Writer/Editor
Location: Fort Huachuca, AZ

The Technical Editor / Writer position provides services supporting the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). Responsibilities include creating and publishing technical documentation and manuals, collecting and interpreting technical data, and coordinating layouts for publication at various lifecycle stages of Army Enterprise programs. We seek a full-time Technical Editor / Writer for our IT services contract at Fort Huachuca, AZ.
- Provide technical, administrative, and operational leadership on projects or tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2007 or higher, especially MS Word (Power User), MS Excel (Power User), MS PowerPoint (User), MS Outlook (User), MS Project (User), and familiarity with Microsoft Visio.
- Experience with DoD and DA technical documentation development, parlance, and regulatory guidance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology.
- Participate in special projects as required.
Education: AA/AS or equivalent experience.
Qualifications/Certifications:
- DoD 8570.1-M Certification: None required.
- ITIL 4 Foundation Certification is beneficial but not required.
- Secret Clearance.
- 3–5 years of experience in the IT field.
