Overview

Ready to be part of a cutting-edge growing Cyber Security project that is making a significant impact on the DOD/Intel community? This role involves working within a team of Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, and Intel Analysts supporting DCO (Defensive Cyber Operations) activities, providing technical writing expertise. Teams perform end-to-end vulnerability assessments of weapons systems and develop mitigation strategies and technical recommendations to defend systems from cyber threats.

Job Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting DCO activities with technical documentation and reports.
• Interpreting and modifying system engineering drawings and specifications.
• Managing project documentation, notes, and updates.
• Supporting the vetting and definition of project requirements through collaboration.
• Entering technical data into relational databases and uploading content onto websites.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM + 4 years of technical writing experience, or high school + 6 years of relevant experience supporting system engineering teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or equivalent tools.
• Ability to synthesize technical information for diverse audiences.
• Experience with engineering and project lifecycle documentation.
• Experience working with mission delivery departments and engineering teams.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Desired skills:

• Vulnerability assessment reporting experience.
• Background in cyber security or handling documentation for weapons/space systems.
