Senior Technical Writer – Medical Devices (Hybrid: Acton, MA or San Diego, CA)

We’re seeking a Senior Technical Writer with medical device experience to lead the creation and management of UX documentation, accessibility annotations, and localized content for cutting-edge healthcare products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain regulatory-compliant documentation (design specs, microcopy, string IDs).
• Manage UX content localization and submissions in PLM systems (e.g., Arena, Polarion).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with quality/regulatory standards.
• Improve processes for technical writing and design tooling (Figma, Jira, Confluence).

Requirements:

• 5+ years in technical writing, 3+ years in medical devices (FDA-regulated preferred).
• Expertise in design documentation, UX writing, or medical/clinical content.
• Proficiency with Figma, PLM tools, or agile environments.
• Ability to commute to Acton, MA or San Diego, CA (hybrid/onsite).

Nice-to-Have:

• Diabetes/life sciences experience.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet, Miro, or accessibility standards.
