As a Content Analytics Engineer you will join the Content Insights team, and partner with our Data Products & Engineering group to maintain systems, build tools, data model and create metrics that help us make better decisions. You will also work closely Subscription Analytics and Data Science team and provide support to our Program Planning and Acquisitions stakeholders to align on infrastructure analytics strategy and will then collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to execute that strategy.
Our ideal candidate will excel in data analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and be an enthusiastic problem solver with a focus on the television and media landscape.
Responsibilities Work closely with the Content Insights team and colleagues in Insights & Analytics to create and maintain a framework for our consumption data infrastructure Support the Sr. Manager and Data Engineer to build best in class analytics products that support critical data infrastructure for the Content Insights team, utilizing both external and proprietary sources Create and maintain critical reporting tables using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau dashboards) for Content Insights team and internal stakeholders Work with our Data Engineering partners and the Data Science team to make sure we have great data to support the products we are building and want to develop Qualifications & Skills
Experience with data warehouse concepts and data management life cycle and highly proficient in programming languages like SQL and/or Python Familiarity with statistical methods (time series, linear regression, etc.) and machine learning concepts Experience working with distributed systems, building and maintaining pipelines using various cloud technologies (e.g. Snowflake) A collaborative and proactive workstyle, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple projects; must have strong attention to detail, specifically for data quality and reporting An exceptional communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences Familiarity with work on GenAI use cases a plus (but not required) Passionate about using data to help guide strategic decision making B.A. or B.S. in relevant fields such as (but not limited to) Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field Compensation
