The Senior Manager, Brand Communication role is responsible for driving the development and execution of integrated marketing communication strategies that align with the company's business goals. It involves close collaboration with senior management and marketing teams to ensure communication efforts effectively support broader business objectives. Overseeing the development of high-level brand positioning, messaging, and voice across all channels, ensuring consistent and impactful communication across all touchpoints is important to this position. It also includes coordinating and managing communication activities for major events such as product launches, trade shows, and national sales meetings, ensuring thorough execution.
As the Brand Communication lead on cross-functional teams, this role will work with internal functions and external agencies to deliver cohesive strategies and programs. The role will oversee creative and content creation, ensuring that the brand and product messaging remains consistent and resonates with target audiences across all brand communication materials. A key responsibility will be the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns to drive online visibility and engagement.
As a Senior Manager, the role may manage support staff, providing leadership and fostering professional development. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative execution, and strong leadership to ensure the success of all brand communications initiatives. The position reports to the Associate Director, Brand Communications.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure brand communication efforts support a broader integrated marketing plan—lead, plan, develop, and implement traditional and digital marketing assets and campaigns including collateral, videos/animations, web content with SEO, email, social, display ads, and SEM; as well as contribute to PR programs.
- Develop metrics to track and report on the effectiveness of campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Manage agency relations and vendor negotiations; direct external agencies responsible for the design, creation, implementation and evaluation of marketing communication programs including messaging, media planning and collateral creation.
- Collaborate with medical, regulatory and legal partners to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, US laws and appropriate clinical representation of marketing assets.
- Conduct market research, as needed, to provide valuable insights for effective communications.
- Play an integral role in the planning and execution trade show promotions.
- Serve as brand steward, ensuring adherence to and providing guidance and training on brand guidelines.
- Tightly manage expenses ensuring alignment with overall budget.
- Recruit, hire and train Brand Communication Specialist; assign roles and responsibilities while holding them accountable for definitive results.
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with all TMC Quality Systems requirements.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage projects/teams within a matrix organization.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Solid understanding of brand management and communications.
- Deep knowledge of both traditional and digital marketing strategies; proficient in content creation for digital channels.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.

- Strong ability to create and manage a budget is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat applications.
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-function group to achieve desired outcomes is required.
Qualifications/ Background Experiences
- Requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience in the development and implementation of integrated marketing communication strategies.
- Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- MedTech background a plus.
- Requires demonstrated career progression in a variety of progressive roles with increasing responsibilities.
- Requires demonstrated successful vendor management experience, especially managing creative and digital marketing agencies.
