Overview
You'll work closely with our Director of Partnerships (Australia-based) and Partnerships/CSM Lead (NYC-based)to secure high-value deals, refine strategies, and represent Thanks at key events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Advertiser Growth: Prospect, engage, and convert mid-market and enterprise advertisers into long-term partners by identifying their needs and aligning them with Thanks' solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers to influence and deliver value-driven partnerships.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine go-to-market strategies, deliver compelling pitches, and close deals.
- Industry Leadership: Represent Thanks at retail and industry events, positioning the company as a leader in the advertising ecosystem.
- Pipeline Development: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, working in tandem with SDRs to ensure timely progression of opportunities.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies and enhance the value proposition.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, and publisher teams to align messaging, share insights, and optimize the sales process.
Requirements
- 10+ years in sales/business development, with a focus on advertising, media, or technology sales.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with experience closing high-value, multi-channel deals.
- Demonstrated success in engaging and converting C-suite and senior-level decision-makers.
- Strong hunter mentality: Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences.
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation platforms.
- Strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Ability to thrive in a remote team environment while independently driving success.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Background in digital advertising or media sales, with experience in SaaS, digital media, or ad technology solutions.
- Experience working with publishers, e-commerce platforms, or ticketing marketplaces.
- Established network within the US tech and media industries.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level accounts and multi-channel sales processes.
