Key Responsibilities:
- Be the creative lead for all steps in the creative process, from concept to finalizing deliverables.
- Collaborate with account, project, and production managers, as well as other creatives, to deliver remarkable and effective work.
- Lead concepting for all client teams you are on.
- Write copy for client presentations, scripts, and other internal needs.
- Develop relationships with existing accounts to build trust, foster collaboration, and deepen business understanding.
- Present to clients at a senior leadership level and influence decisions to drive the best creative solutions.
- Oversee the creative workflow for all projects within your client portfolio.
- Stay informed on market and technology trends, as well as competitor activities.
- Leverage key technologies, including AI, to maximize efficiency while driving top-tier creative work.
- Review final deliverables to ensure they meet The Boathouse's standards.
- Be an awesome teammate and client partner—driving business success while fostering a fun and collaborative environment.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of senior design experience at a creative agency or on the client side.
- Must be able to navigate and influence a complex IAT process, driving the agenda with both external and internal partners.
- Must be proficient in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Google and Microsoft Suites.
- Proficiency in Figma, Final Cut, Avid, and AI-powered image and video generation software is a plus.
- Must be able to balance hands-on work and creative direction in a fast-growing boutique agency.
- Must have proven time management skills and the ability to quickly adapt to a changing business environment.
- Must be able to prioritize responsibilities with the appropriate level of urgency, actively listen, and use this information to solve problems, anticipate issues, and make sound decisions based on various situations.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Must have superior communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal—while effectively listening to solve problems, anticipate issues, and make informed decisions.
- Must be able to travel as required, with an estimated travel commitment of no more than 20%.
