Job Description Job Description Design Manager AGS has an IMMEDIATE opening for a Design Manager with 4+ years’ experience for projects specifically in Airport Facilities, Transit Systems, and Infrastructure. The Design Manager should have experience in construction and engineering design of a major public-sector project (preferably with the Airport Commission). Position is required to work on project site. Responsibilities : Provide support to Project Manager Able to establish a platform for good communication and collaboration between relevant parties and provide flow of design information. Able to identify design coordination issues and mitigate before they arise Prepare detailed reports, charts, and diagrams in MS Office Suite Coordinate with the Project Controls Team on Monthly reporting Provide inspection and field observation reports per contract documents on construction status Coordinate with client stakeholders Presentation preparation Attend weekly construction status meetings Coordinate and lead tours for tenants, stakeholders and other client selected parties Assist Commissioning and Activation teams with implementation of Building Activation, including coordination with stakeholders and tenants Minimum Qualifications : Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management 4+ years of experience in Design, Engineering, Construction An all-round basic knowledge of building construction An understanding of planning applications, City of San Francisco and State of California building regulations, codes of practice, environmental and health and safety regulations.
