position is an exciting opportunity to join PM Group’s quickly growing
San Francisco Bay
area team located out of
Fremont . Together we will all be sharing knowledge, learning, growing, and continuing to be an integral part of supporting PM Group’s ongoing expansion in the US. Our office is executing cutting-edge projects for Cell & Gene Therapy, Biologics, and Pharma facilities - from feasibility through to qualification - for both local and international clients. With our clients and partners, we will deliver projects that improve the everyday lives of people across the globe.
This is a senior level career position and we are looking for a Designer who enjoys client interaction as well as the technical aspects of the position. This individual needs to have an understanding of the technical aspects of design engineering. The ability to successfully handle multiple real-time complex project and operational tasks as well as maintain a strong work ethic and drive to deliver for clients as a collaborative colleague are necessary for this role.

We are focused on growing a sustainable business centered on our people, our clients and trade partners.ResponsibilitiesSite investigation and documentation of existing conditionsDevelopment of concept design or basis of design reportsDevelopment of engineering drawings and calculationsHVAC design for complex facilities, including clean rooms and laboratories.Specification of mechanical equipment (AHU’s, chillers, boilers, etc.)Utility system design - heating and cooling systems (generation and distribution), steam systems, etc.Project manage Suppliers to ensure packages are designed, manufactured, and tested as per project requirementsCoordination with architects and other engineersInterface with clients, vendors, client project management, and other disciplines ensuring the highest level of service is providedInterface with client design team/end usersDelivery of agreed design scope within budget hours and scheduleProvide construction administration service during the construction processQualificationsDegree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent trade experience08 to 10 years of design experience in HVAC design - idealExperience in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical sectors - desiredDemonstrate capability in HVAC designSelf-starter, experience in leading a design team and in coordinating the efforts of othersDemonstrate the ability to play a positive role in a multi-discipline teamHave a professional approach and demeanourGood communication skills (ability to lead Technical reviews with Clients and Suppliers)All resumes are treated in the strictest confidence.RECRUITMENT AGENCIES NEED NOT APPLYSeniority level
