Job Title: Social Media Manager
Location: In Office
Department: Marketing & Sales
Reports To: Director of FOI Marketing
Position Summary: The Social Media Manager is responsible for leading FOI’s social media presence across all platforms, with a focus on increasing brand awareness, strengthening community connection, and driving patient and provider engagement. This role develops and executes social strategies, oversees content creation, manages community interactions, and tracks performance to support broader marketing and organizational goals. The ideal candidate brings creativity, digital expertise, and a passion for storytelling in a mission-driven healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Social Media Manager will lead FOI’s digital presence across platforms, executing strategies that drive awareness, engage our community, and reflect the voice of our organization. Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company goals and brand identity.
- Create content strategies that support both enterprise-wide initiatives and localized clinic or division-level messaging.
- Manage daily publishing and scheduling of content across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
- Partner with providers and internal stakeholders to develop educational content and blogs that support SEO and patient engagement.
- Create engaging, original, and visually compelling content in collaboration with the creative team.
- Monitor, listen, and respond engage with the community in a timely and authentic manner to build trust and brand connection.
- Analyze key metrics, generate reports, and adjust strategy to maximize content and campaign performance.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and reporting ROI.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, PR, clinical teams, and patient experience to ensure integrated messaging.
- Stay up to date on trends, platform updates, best practices, and emerging tools.
- Identify and build relationships with influencers and brand advocates cultivate relationships with healthcare influencers, community partners, and brand advocates.
- Ensure social content adheres to brand guidelines, tone, and legal/compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on proven experience managing social media channels for a brand, agency or multi-location organization.
- Deep understanding of all major social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools.
- Strong copywriting, visual storytelling, and visual content development skills.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Familiarity Experience with paid social advertising/campaigns, audience targeting and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Creative, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced, healthcare-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, multi-site organizations, or other regulated industries
- Proficiency with basic graphic design or video editing skills tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and integration of social media with broader digital and email marketing strategies
