The successful candidate will be responsible for a dual role that encompasses both business development and marketing within the contemporary arts and culture sector. In the business development capacity, the role involves identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities to meet annual targets, as well as strategizing to expand service offerings and enhance execution efficiencies. The Vice President will also be expected to bring and leverage a network of key opinion leaders to support new business development and maintain existing relationships. On the marketing side, the focus is on increasing the company's global visibility and recognition, overseeing client-integrated campaigns, and ensuring the execution of marketing and PR campaigns for global clients is managed profitably. Applicants for the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in marketing and/or integrated communications, with a strong background in business development, particularly within the arts, culture, or luxury space. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in business development, both with new clients and through existing relationships, as well as direct management experience. A passion for and understanding of the art world is essential, as is the ability to work outside regular business hours and travel as needed.
