JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State New Kensington is seeking student workers to staff the library information desk. Duties include assisting patrons with checking out and returning library materials, checking out course reserves and media equipment, answering phones, troubleshooting technology issues, shelving materials, and other duties as assigned. Provide basic research assistance by helping patrons search the online catalog; refer advanced questions to librarians. Candidates should have excellent customer service and communication skills, reliability, flexibility, and be self-motivated. This position is semester-based.
