This role will help Customer Success Engineering (CSE) team implement their Support Portal designs, bolster inclusive functionality, and add additional features in their Certification Portal. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of UX design expertise, frontend development skills, and a passion to artfully create and implement inclusive, company branded experiences. This is a unique opportunity to shape the way customers interact with their support resources and certification programs. This role is highly collaborative with company's Customer Success Engineering, Accreditation Certification & Enablement, and Design teams, and a willingness and eagerness to work cross-functionally is critical. Overarching work on the Support Portal will include improving the overall user experience and creating an on-brand design. Certification Portal work will include adding the ability for users to choose a theme (such as high-contrast for visually impaired people) and creating a user experience where customers can easily navigate to find their personal information (i.e. certifications, exam history, test results, etc.).
Responsibilities User-Centric Design & Frontend Development: Apply expertise in both UX design and frontend development to create intuitive, efficient, and easy-to-use experiences for users interacting with the Support and Certification Portals. Ability to do the engineering work involved with the Support Portal, in addition to the UX design for the Certification Portal On-Brand Design: Create visually appealing and consistent UI designs that align with the company brand identity and provide a pleasant user experience. This includes aligning design elements with company's brand guidelines and incorporating appropriate images / colors to create an engaging visual experience. Accessibility and Inclusivity: Ensure that the portal adheres to accessibility standards and is designed inclusively, catering to diverse user needs and requirements. Information Architecture: Develop and optimize the portal's information architecture to ensure easy navigation and discoverability of support resources and certification pathways. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with engineers, certification professionals, and design stakeholders to understand requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback. Qualifications
3-5 yrs experience as a UX Designer for a global company 2-5 yrs experience in Frontend developer for a global company Must have experience customer facing portal work Deep understanding of frontend code using technologies like React Portfolio sample work showcasing your design projects, preferably in portal work Experience with languages such as CSS, JS, HTML for developing the designs Experience in both UX design and frontend development to create efficient, and easy-to-use experiences for users interacting with the Support Portals. Ability to do the Frontend developer work involved with the customer facing Portal UI/UX Proficiency: Experience in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma) Bonus: Certification Platform Experience: Familiarity with designing for certification or e-learning platforms is a plus Bonus: Customer facing certification portals experience Must have a real passion for UX & Frontend Development: Passion for both UX design and frontend development, with a continuous drive to stay updated on the latest design trends, frontend technologies, and industry best practices User Empathy: Demonstrated ability to empathize with users, understand their pain points, and translate insights into innovative design solutions. Experience to collaborate closely with engineers, certification professionals, and design stakeholder Experience in connecting globally across locations and time zones; ability to attend occasional meetings globally
