Foot Locker Inc is seeking a dynamic and visionary VP Creative to join our talented team. The VP Creative is responsible for driving impactful storytelling and consistent creative vision for all channels including digital and App, social media, retail, out of home and experiential activations. The creative produced will support brand campaigns, always on storytelling, and events to ensure creative cohesion and alignment with marketing strategy and commercial goals.
This dynamic creative leader will deliver ideas and content that inspires and engages the core consumer – bringing deep sneaker culture connectivity and knowledge of social media platforms and storytelling to the role.
Responsibilities
- Creative Vision: Develop and drive the overarching creative vision across all marketing and brand assets. Ensure each brand’s identity is consistently and powerfully represented across all platforms, campaigns, and initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high performing team of creatives.
- Social Storytelling Expertise: Create and develop social media ideas that deliver the brand POV, celebrate our vendor partners and connect and resonate with core consumer
- Brand Consistency: Ensure a unified approach to brand storytelling and art direction, maintaining visual and tonal consistency across all consumer touchpoints.
- Creative Brief Development: Oversee and guide the development of creative briefs that align with business objectives , target audience insights, and brand guidelines. Ensure clarity, vision, and measurable results are delivered.
- Innovation & Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and target audience behavior to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the creative process. Drive forward-thinking, next-gen creative solutions across all marketing and brand platforms.
- Creative Strategy & Concepts: Deliver clear creative strategies and concept driven ideas that deliver on the brand platform(s)
- Creative Execution: Oversee the creative process for large-scale marketing campaigns, from concept through to execution. Partner with Marketing Ops to ensure timely delivery of assets that meet high creative standards and adhere to marketing timelines.
- 15+ years Creative experience with brand development, and at least 10 years mentoring, coaching and developing mid-level and junior teams
- Shown ability to build and direct high-quality, social and digitally led brand Creative
- Previous leadership in a retail environment
- Demonstrated proficiency developing and delivering consistent, on brand creative solutions
- Expert ability to pitch ideas to senior leadership
- Proficient in Digital, Social, Video, In-store and Print advertising formats and methodologies
- Collaborative approach with experience in a fast paced and cross-functional environment
- Experience working directly with talent and creators to collaborate on campaigns
- Experience managing a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel
- Experience working with global teams a plus
The annual base salary range is $200,000 - 250,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short and long term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
