Job Summary:
This position requires a proactive Development Hardware Shop Expeditor who manages operations and delivers hardware on schedule in a customer-facing shop environment. The position requires monitoring parts and tool organization, reporting current statuses, documenting essential processes, and facilitating communication between various teams.
Key Responsibilities: Part Tracking: Manage hardware and component inventory by performing accurate tracking operations to maintain availability for production requirements. Status Reporting: Keep relevant stakeholders informed by delivering routine progress reports on delivery timelines and shop operations. Shop flow: Work with material movers and cell leads to ensure timely processing of hardware through the shop.
Tooling Management: Manage warehouse organization and control distribution logistics for tooling elements within hardware development processes. Creation of Shipping Orders: Develop shipping documentation to facilitate correct and punctual delivery of hardware parts. Shop Floor Presence: Walk the shop floor for long intervals to supervise operations while synchronizing activities and identifying potential bottlenecks. Priority Requests: Work alongside cell leaders to report existing tasks or request task prioritization which supports project deadline and deliverable objectives. Meeting Support: Ensure participation in meetings by taking detailed minutes and distributing essential information to teams for further action.

Qualifications: Essential organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple simultaneous responsibilities. Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities enable interactions with teams from different backgrounds and leadership roles. Strong capability to function both independently and collaboratively in a lively shop-floor setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Work Environment: The work requires extended time spent performing physical tasks which involves walking throughout the shop floor. A dynamic work environment demands teamwork and flexibility while focusing on achieving concrete results.
