Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support vehicle content development through requirements, design, development, and QA phase.
Gather information from vehicles, OE testers and benchmark tools (reverse engineering).
Utilize automotive bus analyzers and diagnostic equipment to ensure the quality of Bosch products
Supporting off-shore associates with requirements, OPL’s, and OE Tool set-up
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
KNOWLEDGE
Required
Good Understanding of automotive protocols like K-line, CAN, ISO14229, etc.
Hands-on experience in reverse engineering diagnostic data such as diagnostic trouble codes, data values, actuation functions, and routines from OEM diagnostic tools
Experience with simulation and validation of vehicle diagnostic networks
Software programming knowledge in C# and SQL is desired
Detailed understanding on software development life cycle
Experience in Agile and scrum model of execution
Preferred
Two year associates degree in automotive technology or equivalent training/experience
Minimum of 2 years previous experience
SKILLS
Skilled in the usage of automotive test equipment
Moderate knowledge and experience using PC applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, etc.
Basic knowledge of databases, MS Access, SQL
PC configuration and installation skills
Basic math knowledge such as number systems, basic algebra
Clear and effective communication skills to work well in a team environment.
Preferred
Automotive knowledge of ADAS features
General automotive knowledge
ABILITIES
Ability to follow and understand detailed test procedures
Demonstrated ability of being a self-starter
Demonstrated ability of organizing work and schedule
Ability to read flow charts including process maps, test plans, and flows
Ability to navigate the internet for research purposes
Ability to work independently and with a team
