What will you be doing?
Design and Implementation:
- Participate in the design process with Design and Installation teams.
- Develop a schedule for programming tasks, including preliminary programming, rack construction, and final programming.
- Execute system implementation tasks, such as testing equipment rack assemblies and on-site final programming.
Programming Efficiency:
- Continuously refine and maintain mechanisms for efficient re-use of programming code.
- Explore programming and control equipment relevant to the Company and its clients.
- Make recommendations to management regarding new devices and techniques.
Technical Familiarity:
- Maintain a high degree of technical familiarity with residential technology systems, covering components, controllers, lighting, networks, mobile computing devices, and cloud-based streaming services.
- Ensure rapid integration and configuration of systems.
Innovation and Optimization:
- Identify areas where software, system programming, or technology services can be leveraged.
- Enhance the Company’s ability to conduct programming project activities efficiently.

Requirements:What do we need from you?
Programming Expertise:
- Over 3 years of hands-on programming experience with Crestron and Lutron system programming tools.
- Proficient in writing code in Simpl#, Simpl#Pro, CH5, C#, CSS, HTML5, Javascript, JSON, XML, and LUA, showcasing a diverse skill set for various programming needs.
- Competent in D3Pro and Toolbox code, highlighting proficiency in programming for audiovisual and home automation systems.
Networking Proficiency:
- Strong networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills, with a preference for candidates who can navigate complex network setups.
Controller Programming:
- Demonstrated ability to program system controllers, including Crestron and Lutron, indicating a practical understanding of integrated control systems.
- Ability to write Simpl Windows code, showcasing expertise in Crestron's programming language for control system design.
System Conceptualization:
- Ability to conceptualize component interactions and installation environments, ensuring desired functionality before physical installation.
Industry Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of electronic componentry, network architecture, and programming systems typical of home automation, theater, distributed audio, and A/V system installations.
Software Development Acumen:
- Knowledge of software development and programming methods used in the industry, along with the ability to implement processes and tools as needed.
- Experience with Vision Tools Pro-e, demonstrating proficiency in Crestron's graphical user interface design tool.
