Overview: We are seeking a Director of Operational Excellence to support our branches throughout the region. This pivotal role will report directly to the Vice President of Operations or their designee and will champion education, training, and quality delivery. To qualify for this position, you MUST:
Be a Registered Nurse (RN) Have at least 2 years of recent hospice management experience Reside in the relevant state Be open to 50-75% travel Duties:
Provide guidance, leadership, and support to regional branches to effectively achieve administrative objectives, orientation, and retention. Play a critical role in branch leader orientation. Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to enhance our hospice services and ensure the highest quality patient care. Travel regularly to multiple offices/branches within a specific area. Essential Functions of Position:
Collaborate with branch leaders on orientation, mentoring, and educational activities within the assigned area. Utilize quarterly on-site audit results to plan necessary in-services. Assist in monitoring staff in-service training hours/educational attendance to meet regulatory requirements. Act as a resource to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements by implementing systems, policies, and standards for inspections, surveys, and reviews. Coordinate with corporate staff, Medical Director, Clinical Manager, and Executive Director regularly. Ensure that agencies have access to updated copies of all applicable regulations, statutes, and policies. Take responsibility for the clinical services function across various care settings. Participate in coordinating all aspects of patient hospice care and the hospice's quality assessment and performance improvement program. Perform additional duties as assigned. About You:
Registered Nurse - bachelor's degree preferred Five years of previous operations/managerial experience, including 3 years in the hospice service industry. Unencumbered and active RN license in the state required. CPR Certification. We Offer:
