Role: Senior Medical Editor
Location: USA (fully remote)
A leading medical communications agency is seeking an experienced Senior Medical Editor to join their pharmaceutical advertising team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, edit, and proofread all promotional materials (CVAs, emails, banner ads, videos, websites, etc.) for accuracy and consistency.
- Annotate and cross-check promotional/marketing materials for M/L/R review.
- Verify reference list accuracy and maintain adherence to client, AMA, and agency style guidelines.
- Collaborate with Medical and Creative Services to ensure content accuracy and provide editorial input.
- Manage copyright permissions for figures/tables and communicate costs to Account Services for client approval.
- Act as the sole Medical Editor on a leading brand.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical communications agency, specifically within the pharmaceutical advertising sector.
- Deliverables: Must have extensive experience editing documents such as CVAs, emails, banner ads, videos, websites, etc.
- Skills:
- Exceptional editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong understanding of medical and scientific terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
