Tampa Bay Test Prep is an online and in-person tutoring business serving students with math tutoring, reading and writing tutoring, and test prep. We offer both 1:1 and classes.
Role Description
This part-time online writing tutoring role is for 6th—8th-grade students. The role involves providing tutoring sessions, helping students develop writing and reading comprehension skills, and communicating with parents. Experience teaching or prepping for SSAT / HSPT is not required but preferred.
Qualifications
- Communication and online tutoring skills
- Experience in tutoring writing
- Ability to work with 6th-grade through 8th-grade students effectively
- Credential or degree in English or related field
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience
- A love for teaching writing
- Previous experience in education or tutoring
- Tampa location preferred but not required
