Position Summary

Forcura, a dynamic high-growth SaaS technology company focused on driving efficiency and interoperability for healthcare organizations, is seeking a UI/UX (User Interface/User Experience) Designer to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment, be passionate about innovation, efficiency and scalability, and have demonstrated experience providing solutions to complex problems in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. This position is self-directed, requiring a proactive candidate who is intrinsically motivated and eager to constantly improve.
Job Duties
Designs, modifies, and maintains dynamic user interfaces for applications - responsive and non-responsive. Focuses on the entire user experience and maintains usability standards, templates and style sheets. Analyzes results of user testing, client, product and engineering feedback to define interface requirements. Collects data and develops user profiles or personas meant to describe the target user and define their needs; translates findings into design requirements or functional specifications. Support the design team in refining visual design elements and ensuring they align with brand guidelines. Writes user experience test plans and conducts user interface testing to ensure usability, functionality and compatibility with existing and new technologies. Displays an understanding of front-end programming technologies, which may include HTML, Javascript, CSS, or others - including web and mobile. Iterate and refine designs based on user feedback, stakeholder input, and business needs. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma. Other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, or related field. 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and completed projects. Excellent critical thinking required with the ability to view Forcura's products from an outside-in, user perspective. Solid working knowledge of UX subject matter - healthcare preferred but not required. Proficiency in Figma, with experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs. Effective communications skills to present design ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams - must be a team player. Demonstrated ability to proactively and confidently engage with stakeholders to gain an understanding of the business' evolving technical needs. Ability to thrive in a fast paced, agile, and quickly changing business environment. Experience in SaaS and healthcare preferred, but not required. Experience with other design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD) is a plus. Preferred Qualifications
Health information services and/or HIPAA technical background preferred. Post-Acute Healthcare experience a plus. Physical Demands of Our Work Environment
This position is a hybrid environment and uses a computer and other office equipment needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office.
