Were hiring a UI Designer to take ownership of visual interface design and system architecture across our multi-platform product suiteincluding a Flutter-based mobile app and smart mirror experience.

Your primary focus will be turning our existing component library into a scalable, documented design system, while applying it to core product flows like eCommerce, checkout, onboarding, and media capture. Youll also work closely with engineering and product to refine features, contribute to implementation, and help shape innovative experiences powered by AI and machine learning.

This role is ideal for a systems-minded designer who loves making clean, elegant UI thats ready for the real world.

Key Responsibilities

• Formalize our existing component library into a robust, scalable design system
• Apply that system across mobile, tablet, and smart mirror interfaces
• Design responsive UIs for core flows such as checkout, onboarding, video/photo tools, and admin panels
• Participate in design and development refinement cycles to align design with product and technical constraints
• Partner with engineering to ensure clean, accurate implementation across Flutter platforms
• Collaborate on AI/ML-powered features , helping define how intelligent experiences show up visually
• Build and maintain prototypes to communicate states, interactions, and animations
• Conduct regular UI sweeps to improve quality, consistency, and usability

Must-Haves

• 4+ years of professional experience in UI or Product Design
• (2) Design system creation or formalization
• (3) Real, shipped product work (not just visual concepts)
• Hands-on experience building and managing design systems in Figma
• Expertise in Figma components, variants, tokens, and interactive prototyping
• Strong layout, spacing, and interaction detail skills
• Experience working with Flutter developers or similar cross-platform app teams
• Comfortable participating in product/dev refinement and design QA cycles
• Able to balance visual quality with technical feasibility

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with Flutter widget architecture and limitations
• Designed for embedded devices , tablets, or unique platforms (smart mirrors, kiosks)
• Background in eCommerce , checkout flows, or media tools
• Exposure to or interest in AI/ML-powered product features (e.g., personalization, automation, smart capture/editing)
• Experience designing admin/back-office tools or CMS interfaces
• Motion/microinteraction or prototyping experience using Framer, ProtoPie, or similar

The salary range for this position is$70,000 $100,000, depending on experience, skillset, and employment classification. Final compensation will also take into account factors such as location, availability, and scope of responsibilities.
