Responsibilities

1. Champion User Experience and User Interface Design to ensure seamless user journeys.
2. Advocate for UX/UI design, communicating the vision effectively to project teams.
3. Lead stakeholder and user interviews to understand business needs, facilitating creative brainstorming sessions.
4. Create personas, journey maps, site maps, and information architecture diagrams to understand user behavior.
5. Develop user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate product vision.
6. Manage feedback sessions and user testing to meet user expectations.
7. Apply Tax Design System standards consistently across mockups.
8. Collaborate with UI developers to ensure accurate, accessible, and user-friendly product builds.
9. Explore integrating AI into UX/UI workflows.

Qualifications

1. At least 5 years of experience designing engaging and intuitive websites or applications.
2. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
3. Deep understanding of accessibility and inclusive design practices.
4. Proficiency in Figma, FigJam, Mural, Miro, and Office 365.
5. High-level understanding of backend development languages to bridge design and development.
