Overview
IntelliTrans, (ITL), a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) is seeking a UX/UI Designer to join our team hybrid/remote in Atlanta, GA or Conway, Arkansas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
UX Strategy and Leadership
- Define and execute a UX/UI vision and strategy to improve usability, engagement, and user adoption.
- Foster a design-driven culture within IntelliTrans, advocating for user-centric decision-making at all levels.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing UX/UI design team, providing coaching and career development.
- Establish design best practices, frameworks, and scalable processes to drive efficiency and innovation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work effectively across globally distributed teams (Product, Engineering, Data Science) spanning multiple time zones.
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists throughout the agile product lifecycle.
- Oversee and manage external design agencies, ensuring alignment with internal design standards and business objectives.
User Research & Experience Design
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to understand user behavior and improve product design.
- Translate research insights into wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
- Define and optimize user journeys and information architecture to enhance product navigation and workflow efficiency.
UI Development & Design System Management
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation of UX/UI designs in modern UI frameworks (React, Angular, etc.).
- Develop and maintain a scalable design system to ensure consistency and high-quality standards across all digital experiences.
Data-Driven Decision-Making & Innovation
- Leverage data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL) to inform UX strategies and measure success.
- Utilize usage tracking tools (Pendo, Google Analytics, etc.) to analyze user behavior and optimize engagement.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, incorporating AI, automation, and predictive UX models into future product experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND
Education: Degree in Design, HCI, Graphic or Visual Design; MBA is a plus.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in UX/UI product design, with 5+ years leading UX/UI teams.
- 5+ years conducting user research, usability testing, and customer feedback sessions.
- Work Portfolio- Portfolio or samples of work showcasing user-centered design solutions, is required.
Skills:
- Proficiency in industry-leading design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, XD, Sketch, etc.).
- Experience in SaaS & B2B application design, with expertise in mobile and responsive web platforms.
- Strong UI development knowledge with familiarity in modern UI libraries and frameworks (React, Angular, etc.).
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, or TMS solutions (truck & rail freight) is highly preferred.
Competencies:
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex logistics concepts into intuitive UX solutions.
- Willing to travel as needed.
