Overview
We are seeking a UX Designer to join our growing team and support our federal customer in Washington, DC. The development team is responsible for developing and maintaining various applications and systems. The customer's platform is in the process of modernizing existing applications that are critical to impactful activities and operations. The work is to be performed onsite in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
•Develop low and high-fidelity wireframes to present to engineers, testers, and users.
•Collaborate with business analysts to define workflows and analyze UX for legacy applications and workflows.
•Present designs to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
•Work with engineers to refine designs based on data analysis and implementation constraints.
•Work with testers and business analysts to refine acceptance criteria and update designs as needed.
Experience:
•Minimum 5 years of experience developing UX wireframes in Adobe XD or Figma.
•Experience working with business analysts to define complex workflows and present alternatives to customers.
•Experience conducting user interviews and collecting data from customer observations.
•Experience working with UI developers using React to clarify and refine designs for development.
•Ability to collaborate with a team to define project scope, team processes, and technical solutions and prioritize work with competing priorities.
•Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
•Previous experience working on federal programs is preferred.
Education Requirements:
•Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
Clearance and Citizenship Requirements:
•Ability to attain and retain a Public Trust Clearance.
•U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal government program.
